idea
The Google and Projor Challenge was an initiative that aimed to recognise and award innovative projects in the field of journalism. The goal was to develop an app prototype addressing a market, public, or regional journalism need. This led to the proposal of Regionow, a geolocation-based news application.
my role
Collaborating with 5 journalism students, I served as the UI/UX designer, translating their innovative ideas into a functional application prototype. My expertise was critical in defining the app’s functionalities and user experience, bringing their vision to life.
impact
In the first evaluation stage, the Regionow project was among the top three. The announcement of the winning work took place on December 5th, 2015 at Google Brazil’s headquarters in São Paulo, highlighting the quality and potential of the projects developed by the students of PUC-Campinas.
