rova is an innovative digital platform designed to unify all ten MediaWorks radio brands into a single, seamless hub. Rova transforms the listening experience by offering a curated world of homegrown entertainment – from live music and exclusive podcasts to news, videos, and competitions – all personalised and available on-demand. It’s a testament to how thoughtful design can consolidate complexity into an intuitive, user-centric experience.
my role
My responsibilities began with the UI exploration, where I translated the brand guidelines into digital experience. I tackled the complex challenge of creating adaptable colour patterns for 10+ different radio stations, ensuring they scaled effectively across all screens. Furthermore, I contributed to building base elements and full block components for the website, playing a key role in developing a neat and properly structured design system.

Beyond unification, rova was strategically designed to drive deeper engagement and unlock valuable user insights. Personalised features for registered listeners create a virtuous cycle: interactions refine content recommendations, boosting registrations and repeat visits. This enhanced experience not only elevates user engagement but also generates rich, actionable customer data for MediaWorks.
